Three useful ways to read the announced progression
The official feature description connects experience with chosen skills. Its examples span garden work, trading and special interactions. These categories suggest different uses for progression, but they do not establish a complete set of branches or prove that every player must specialize.
A skill screenshot can help illustrate the interface, but a visible node does not reveal all prerequisites, point rules or downstream effects. We preserve the difference between an advertised example and a fully checked progression graph.

Why there is no recommended point order yet
A responsible build recommendation needs the actual costs, unlock conditions, effects and trade-offs. We have not verified those fields in the public demo or full game. Recommending an order now would make the guide sound more precise than its evidence.
Use the descriptions in your installed game when choosing. If you want to keep a research note, record the exact skill text, version and what changed after selecting it. A named effect without that context is not enough to calculate the value of a point.
Special abilities may open different interactions
Speaking to frogs is the official example of a special ability. It tells us that progression can change how you interact with the world, rather than only increase a garden statistic. It does not establish the exact skill name or identify every creature interaction.
The image on this page is an official pre-release abilities screen, included as visual context. It is not a verified launch tree. A future planner will activate only when its nodes, dependencies and any point total can be sourced, so that a plan cannot spend imaginary points on guessed prerequisites.
