Magic is a way to work with the world
The official overview describes musical magic in everyday and exploratory terms: helping tools, bringing rain and reaching places. This connects the university garden with the wider island instead of presenting spellcasting only as a combat system.
It is useful to read an advertised effect separately from a named spell. The sources show what the system can do, but do not give a complete set of song names, costs or unlock conditions. We do not name a rain or earth song by guessing from its effect.

Do not confuse the performance score with permission to cast
The demo’s 0.466 note explicitly says that no stars are required to cast. Later tuning made the first song easier and reiterated that music practice is optional. A low score therefore does not establish that your character lacks the ability to perform an otherwise available spell action.
For an exact action, use the current tutorial and target prompts. This overview explains the relationship between systems; it does not supply an untested controller sequence or a complete spell walkthrough.
Follow the problem to the right chapter
For difficulty with music timing, open the music-minigame guide. For clock pressure while rehearsing, use the practice and time pages. For a garden interaction, the garden chapter keeps official demo fixes and announced systems together.
The song tracker starts with the verified name Song of Tilling. Its small dataset reflects this wiki’s evidence scope, not the number of songs in the game. The reference can grow without retroactively treating today’s unknown values as facts.
