The short answer

Glimmerwick is an explorable island built around a university and its surrounding world. The demo’s map opens with M or right-stick click. This wiki does not yet have a verified full map, coordinates or a legally reusable base map for an interactive tool.

Read the world as a place to explore

The official overview describes an island with a university, townsfolk, activities and mysteries. The top-down world devlog discusses the team’s approach to making that world navigable and varied. It supplies design context, not a complete atlas with measurements.

The scene shown here is an official pre-release screenshot. A bridge, waterfall or building can illustrate the setting without proving its final map label, access condition or exact distance from another place. Those fields require direct verification.

The first practical step is opening your own map

Eastshade added direct map access in 0.465: M for keyboard-and-mouse mode and a right-stick click on controller. Use the current in-game prompt if you have changed the binding. The map-controls guide also records the later map-legend translation fixes.

We do not publish an invented zoom key or marker legend. When using an older video for directions, compare its build and language with your own game, especially if a label or input prompt looks different.

Why a location directory comes before an interactive map

A useful interactive map needs a suitable base image, known landmarks and reliable positions. We have not established those ingredients. Drawing a convincing island outline now would create false precision and could send a player to a location that was never verified.

The reference will first grow through named places with sourced services, characters and quest links. A schematic or interactive layer can follow when those relationships are reliable. For now, use the official world-design video and the map inside your game, and treat exact destination guides as launch work still to be checked.
