August 13 — a date for the full PC adventure
Eastshade announced September 30, 2026 as the release date. For players, the practical change is that a broad release window now has a specific PC target. The release guide keeps the exact-hour question open because the announcement does not supply an unlock time.
The date should be read alongside the platform status. The Steam game remains upcoming in the current check, and a later console plan reported by Gematsu does not share a confirmed date with the PC edition.
June 15 — the demo enters Next Fest
The developer reported passing 150,000 Steam wishlists and described the demo as over two hours long. Those are dated developer statements. The wishlist figure is not a live counter, a sales total, or a promise about how many players will be online at launch.
The same announcement reiterated that demo saves should continue in the full game. For someone who has already spent time with the opening, that continuity is more actionable than the size of the milestone: keep the save you want to use.
April 7 — the public demo becomes available
The demo launch opened the first hours to everyone through Steam and invited feedback. Subsequent posts introduced control, language and music-help changes. A preview published at the start of April can therefore describe an earlier state than the public demo available now.
Use Updates for the effect of those patches on playing, or the complete demo patch page for a chronological version record. This noticeboard focuses on announcements with a broader effect on when and how you can start the game.
