Start with the developer’s location hint
The 0.464 note explains a deliberate design choice: the clock stops in shops and the player menu, but not simply because you enter flute mode. Immediately after that clarification, Eastshade directs players to the music classroom’s practice rooms. That is the verified location guidance available in the patch.
We have not mapped an exact doorway or reproduced the room interaction in the current demo. Follow the school’s in-game signs and prompts when locating it. A room hint should not be expanded into an invented route, coordinate or schedule.
Decide what you want from practice
If your goal is to cast the song for a task, a missing star is not itself a blocker: the developer explicitly says stars are unnecessary for casting. If your goal is to improve the performance, take the challenge as a separate personal objective.
The June patch says songs are not supposed to be maxed out immediately. It also made the first song easier, so an early difficulty impression may not describe the current public demo. No official expected-attempt count or complete mastery formula has been verified here.
Make a small practice note
The song tracker lets you mark learned, practiced or perfected for the verified song name in this reference. These are your own labels and can be reset. The tool does not read the game, grant a star or calculate a spell’s effect.
For a useful note, record which part of a current prompt is unclear and whether you have tried the in-game assistance. The 0.466 patch added extra music help in the options, but did not document its exact label. Use the actual setting rather than a web guide’s guessed toggle name.
