What the single-player listing tells you
Single-player is an explicit feature in the official Steam metadata. The current feature list does not advertise online co-op, local co-op or competitive multiplayer. If playing in one shared game with another person is essential to your purchase decision, the evidence available here does not meet that requirement.
The game’s social premise can make the distinction easy to miss. Classes, classmates, townsfolk and after-school activities describe a populated role-playing world. Eastshade’s NPC development material concerns how simulated characters live and move within that world.
Plan around the game that is advertised
You can use the demo to see whether following your own character through classes, garden work and exploration feels right for you. Our tools are personal browser-based planners and trackers; they do not connect to another player, synchronize a party, or modify a game session.
Future features would need a separate official announcement. We do not promise multiplayer as a launch surprise, a later update or a modding possibility. This answer is limited to the current public listing, and will change if the developer supplies new information. For platform and controller questions, use the dedicated pages linked below.
