Treat the tutorial’s action and the music score separately

The most useful early clarification is that the music minigame is not a mandatory star gate. If you are trying to complete a garden action, identify what the current tutorial asks you to cast and where it asks you to act. Repeating a performance to earn more stars may not address a targeting or input misunderstanding.

We have not directly verified the complete garden tutorial sequence, so this guide does not invent a hoe, watering or planting button combination. Use the in-game prompts for the installed build and your active control method.

Know the dated watering-can fix

The June patch fixed a soft lock involving the watering can near the player pond. This is a specific historical change, not a claim that the pond is currently unsafe or that everyone needs a special workaround.

If a similar interaction remains blocked, first note the demo version and the action immediately preceding it. Compare that with the official fix before deleting a save or trying a file edit. The common-issues guide helps separate an old bug report from a current reproducible problem.
