The short answer

Several early demo problems have official fixes: chairs, a water-related save lock and early potions-class access in 0.465, then a watering-can lock and map text in 0.484. These are historical fixes, not claims that every current player is affected.

First identify which problem and which build

An early forum report can remain visible long after a patch addresses it. Compare the installed demo version with the dated change record before treating a screenshot or workaround as current advice. Version 0.466 is especially relevant because it explicitly says the 0.465 changes are live again after a rollback.

The latest accessible named patch in this research is 0.484. That is a statement about the public announcement record we found, not proof that no other internal or unannounced builds exist.

Separate confusion from a confirmed technical fault

Difficulty with the music tutorial is not, by itself, evidence of a soft lock. The developer added assistance and clarified that stars are not required to cast. Read that distinction before restarting a save to pursue a perfect performance.

For a controller prompt problem, preserve the actual symbol, device and current settings. We do not offer a button sequence that has not been reproduced. The control guide limits its table to the actions explicitly documented in the notes.

Make a report that can be reproduced

If a problem persists, include the demo version, operating system, input device, language, what you were doing and what happened instead. Note whether the same action repeats the problem. Keep the save you care about rather than trying speculative file edits.

The official demo announcement links feedback channels for the development team. Follow those current official links when reporting. We do not publish generic driver downloads, registry changes or save-file surgery as game-specific fixes without evidence.
